Assembling the Parfait
- In a blender, combine the soft berries and honey or maple syrup (if using). Blend until completely smooth, achieving a pureed texture. If the mixture is too thick, add a small amount of water or yogurt to help blend.
- In a separate bowl, stir the yogurt until smooth. If desired, you can blend the yogurt for an even creamier texture.
- To assemble, layer the berry puree and yogurt in serving bowls or glasses, alternating between the two. Start with a layer of berry puree, followed by a layer of yogurt, and repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving. Enjoy the parfait chilled for a refreshing treat!
Notes
Texture Tips: For an even smoother texture, blend the berry layer until fully pureed and consider straining it to remove any seeds. If a softer consistency is needed, use fully ripe berries or add a bit more yogurt to the mix for a creamier feel.
This parfait can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. If you notice any separation of the layers, simply stir before serving. The berries should be soft enough to blend easily, and the parfait should have a creamy, smooth consistency.
